Primo Estate Prosecco NV

The Primo Estate story began in 1953 when an 18-year-old Primo Grilli landed in South Australia from the Le Marche region of Italy. Primo met his wife Santina in Adelaide – though the two had grown up less than a kilometre apart in Italy - and they settled in Virginia, a small township to the north, with the dream to one day plant a vineyard. That dream was realized exactly 20 years later, in 1973.

Long-time fan of Italian Prosecco, winemaker Joe Grilli pays tribute to the fresh, crisp, savoury sparkling whites produced in his in-law’s home region of the Veneto in Northern Italy.

The nose has delicate stone fruit aromas with a hint of lemon blossom. On the palate, fine, refreshing fruit flavours marry well with delicate bubbles and crisp acidity. Mouth-watering and moreish with a crisp, savory finish. The Primo Estate Prosecco is made from 100% McLaren Vale and Riverland Prosecco grapes.
