Penfolds Bin 28 Shiraz 2009
Penfolds Bin 28 Shiraz 2009
Penfolds really needs no introduction, which this wine follows on in the same light.
Bin 28 offers a showcase of warm-climate Australian Shiraz – ripe, robust and generously fl avoured. First made in 1959, Bin 28 is named after the famous Barossa Valley Kalimna Vineyard purchased by Penfolds in 1945 and from which the wine was originally sourced. Today, Bin 28 is a multi-region, multi-vineyard blend, with the Barossa Valley always well represented.
"Full purple-crimson; rich, textured and full-bodied, with plum, blackberry and vanilla threaded throughout the multilayered palate, with its hallmark soft tannins.' - 94 Points.- James Halliday - Published on 17 Jul 2012"
