Moët & Chandon Grand Vintage 2016 is marked by a year of tension. The Champagne evokes an awakening, the first rays of a day full of promise. The 46th vintage rosé in the history of the House, Grand Vintage Rosé 2016 is distinctive for its brilliance, spicy bouquet and powerful palate.

Dry, ripe and healthy years suit the Pinot Noir, which is a major component of this blend. Initial aromas of sun-ripened dark berries – blackcurrant, blackberry and black cherry. Hints of fig and wild strawberry combine with spicy notes of pink berries and aromatic pepper, and allspice. Scents of flowery garrigue refresh the ensemble.

The Pinot Noir dominates in a realm of power and extraction. The fruit is concentrated, dark and deep. The tannins create angles, revealing facets of a jewel in the rough. A salivating harshness of sloe and cranberry with notes of mint and aniseed completing the finish.
